Sun City is a master planned, age-restricted community from the Del Webb Company in the Western section of Valley. Sun City contains seven recreation centers, eight golf courses, three country clubs, two bowling centers, a performing arts center and a private lake. It also maintains a volunteer registry and Sun City's residents are the Valley's largest volunteer group, leading to the slogan since 1993, "City of Volunteers."
